Founder of Studio You & Instructor
Sophie’s story starts back in 2017. After suffering a back injury, Sophie turned to Pilates to help strengthen her core and recover from the injury. It was from that moment in 2017 that Sophie found her love for Pilates. Sophie is a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist. In 2018, Sophie qualified as a Dynamic Reformer Pilates Instructor in London.
Since then, she has been teaching at various studios in the South. In 2024, Sophie started her first company, ‘Pilates with Soph’, at a home studio with four reformers. She always dreamed of having a studio in the community, and Studio You came to life on her familymoon in 2025! Sophie’s focus is on creating a friendly and fun atmosphere for exercise. She wanted to create a boutique-style studio space where clients would feel stronger and more energized after each class.
In her spare time, when she isn’t teaching, Sophie enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and dog. You may occasionally see her attend classes at the studio, as she still loves Reformer Pilates.
We can’t wait to see you at Studio You.

After nearly 30 years as a Primary School teacher, transitioning into Pilates felt like a natural and exciting next step. Teaching has always been at the heart of who I am, and I now blend my love of learning, connecting with people, and passion for movement in every class I lead.
As a qualified UK Athletics Leader in Running Fitness and an experienced long-distance and ultra-marathon runner, I discovered Pilates and Reformer training many years ago to support my own performance. It has been transformative — strengthening my core, improving resilience, preventing injury, and just as importantly, providing space to reset and calm the mind.
I truly believe Pilates is for everybody, at every stage of life and fitness. Whether you’re new to movement or looking to enhance athletic performance, I’m passionate about helping you build strength, confidence, and balance in a supportive environment.
Outside of the studio, I love spending time with my husband, our two girls and our dog. I’m a keen open water swimmer — especially embracing the invigorating cold winter dips — and I never say no to a good cup of tea and a slice of cake!
I very much look forward to welcoming you to Studio You and supporting you on your Pilates journey.

With a degree in Sports Therapy and a background in competitive swimming, movement has always been a huge part of my life. I started my career in sports injury and rehabilitation, where I saw just how powerful the right kind of movement can be for building strength, confidence, and long term body health.
That is what led me to Pilates, a method I love for helping clients feel stronger, move better, and truly enjoy exercise.
The thing I love the most about my job is building relationships with my clients and seeing their progression. When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me running, at the gym, or at a cafe enjoying a coffee and a sweet treat!
I can’t wait to help you feel your best in class!
